Beautiful hand painted ceramic biscuit barrel in the shape of the Scottish thistle. Circa early 20th century.
Featuring EPNS handle and lid with matching thistle knob.
Elegant cookie jar or biscuit barrel, collectible antique piece particularly the Scottish thistle design. Lovely pink, green and lavender ombre colours.
In good antique condition, there is some paint loss to rim and all over crazing (showing significantly on the interior) and the handle and lid would benefit from a polish.
