Beautiful Australian art pottery jugs, by Harry Whyte, circa 1950's.
These pieces are small in size, creamer or sauce jug size. They feature hand painted Aboriginal style artworks.
One jug has art featuring an Aboriginal man and kangaroo with an outback landscape, and the other with emus on an earthen burnt orange background. They have a beautiful and unique mid century form with the handle formed within the one pottery piece.
Incised to base with 'HW' and the model or mould number 88.

In excellent vintage condition, some minor crazing. The emu jug has a very tiny spout chip as pictured.
