Sadler lustre ware ceramic biscuit barrel in cream with gold trim, made in England. Circa 1940's. This design is well known for its elegant shape, beautiful gold detailing and art deco influence.
Elegant cookie jar or biscuit barrel, highly collectible Sadler ceramic piece particularly with the lustre ware finish. There is some minor wear to gold gilding, in particular to the finial, and some crazing. Age wear to metal handle, some tarnish. Overall wonderful vintage condition.
