Vintage ceramic large coffee mug made by Florenz Pottery, Australia, circa 1970's.

Florenz Pottery was established in the 1930's by Florence Williams and is well known for it's high quality and artistic pottery pieces capturing the landscapes, flora and fauna of Australia, and Aboriginal art and designs mainly as souvenir pieces.

This large mug is a beautiful earthy orange/brown colour with a design showcasing Australia's indigenous people, with 'Darwin' in one bottom corner. A unique Australian collectible mug in excellent condition, with original label. One 'scratch' appears at the rear, but I think this was done during manufacturing as it does not feel scratched.
