Davidson Glass Suite 1895 footed compote c.1920's

Beautiful example of English pressed glass, this compote can be used for many purposes including food service or as a unique flower or decor bowl. Made by George Davidson & Co, England, circa 1920's.

The bowl features an intricate repeating diamond pattern with star centre detail, the diamond pattern is repeated on the foot. Finished with a pretty ruffled rim. The pattern reflects the light wonderfully with the detail within each small diamond.
This pattern was registered in 1895. A rare pattern in a lovely tall compote design.
 
Wonderful style glass piece and highly collectible antique Davidson glass. In very good condition, has one chip to the underneath of the foot, pictured.
