Art Deco Crystal Powder Boxes

Traditional cut crystal powder boxes, by Crown Crystal, made in Australia, c.1930s.

In three different patterns, a traditional diamond cut pattern, a leaf and daisy button pattern, and a 3 leaf design, all feature a squat design bowl with lids. 

These traditional powder boxes were once a quiet feature of dressing table sets - a small, thoughtful detail that brought beauty into the everyday ritual of getting ready. Today, they are just as charming used as jewellery or trinket boxes.
