This elegant Victorian tray is a lovely example of 19th century papier-mache craftsmanship.
Finished in classic black lacquer, it features a delicately painted surface with green leaf centre and Cornish bellflower, and highly decorative gold accents.
Twisted metal handle attached to provide strength and a decorative flourish, making it easy to carry. Perfect to use as an antique serving tray or simply as a decorative accent or collectible antique piece.
Has one chip underneath as pictured, not noticeable on the top. Otherwise in very good antique condition, some wear to surface commensurate with age.
