Antique Crystal Biscuit Barrel with Bakelite Knob

An antique crystal biscuit barrel by Benjamin A & Sons, made in Australia, c.1920s.

With silver plated rim and handle featuring the bee impressed logo, this charming old-style biscuit barrel has an elliptical diamond cut pattern to the exterior and is finished with a bakelite knob.

A character-filled kitchen and table piece or timeless gift for collectors of antique crystal and kitchen accessories.

In overall excellent antique condition, the lid has a slight bend (pictured) and there is tarnish to the silver plate consistent with age.
