Ellis Ceramics Harvest Ware Creamer 261

A small pottery creamer by Ellis Ceramics, made in Australia, c.1960s.

Featuring a hand carved foliage pattern and green/grey colouring, this is the 261 small jug design suitable for milk or sauces. Signed to base.

In very good vintage condition, with small chips to glaze on and near the spout (pictured) and some crazing evident.

Ellis Ceramics was an Australian pottery studio established by a Czechoslovakian couple, Dasa and Milda Kratochvil, in 1953. Their pieces were hand decorated or carved, which makes each piece unique.
