An antique tableware collection by Empire Porcelain Co., made in England, c.1920s.

These dishes feature 'The Bush Road', a hand painted country scene with man and dog on a country road. The set consists of a sandwich tray with two matching octagonal plates.

The sandwich tray handles feature delicate scroll work and wave rim, and each piece is unique due to their hand made nature. Signed by artist Allan M Lewis.

Marked on the underside including the crown marking. A charming addition to a high tea service, and equally as beautiful on display. A collectible and rare design set.

In overall excellent vintage condition, one tiny chip to the underside of the tray (pictured). Crazing is evident and consistent with age.
