Davidson Footed 'William and Mary' Cake Stand

A beautiful example of English pressed glass by George Davidson & Co, made in England, c.1900s.

Details on this bowl include a six point flower shape pattern with intricate diamond pressed glass pattern in each 'petal'. With undulating edge and wave detail rim. This is registered pattern no. 413701 (marked to plate surface), there was a range of glassware items featuring this design. It is also known as 'William and Mary'.

A small cake stand, it is just under 8" and would fit a standard 6" cake, or use for petit fours or other individual sweets. 

A classic and collectible Davidson glass piece.

In overall very good condition, with evidence of use in small scratches/utensil marks on the top surface, consistent with age.
