This is the very rare art deco large 7397 vase by Josef Inwald Glassworks, Czechoslovakia. Circa 1920's.

A clear pressed glass vase, produced around the same time as the very similar Sowerby's 'Derby Suite', however with obvious differences. These vases have the same Star of David style design, however the Inwald design features a cross hatched triangle pattern alternating with the star design. They also have a more organic style wave rim in comparison.
With concave base, a stunning early 20th century piece, each vase weighing over 2kg (2 available). I had the privilege of speaking with the relative of the now deceased owner of these beautiful pieces, as a testament to their provenance.

Highly collectible art deco glassware, in excellent condition. Would make a stunning matching pair, although sold separately. Please message me if you are interested in the pair.

Each vase measures approx.
305mm (H) x 120mm diameter (top and bottom) and 85mm diameter mid section
Weight approx. 2kg each - reflected in postage
