Large bowl in the Rouge Royale 'New Mikado' chinoiserie pattern by Carlton Ware, England. Circa 1940's/50's.
This bowl is the fine quality and collectible Carlton Ware in a lustre deep red colour with gold gilded highlights. The bowl features an enamel and gilt chinoiserie pattern with central pagoda, finished with gilt rim and highly decorative internal rim design.
In overall wonderful vintage condition, with some surface wear to interior of bowl from age and use.
