Davidson Glass Small Pedestal Bowl c.1897

Beautiful example of English pressed glass, this small compote is by George Davidson & Co, made in England, c.1890s.

The bowl features a repeating diamond pattern which, when layered, creates a star pattern throughout. It is finished with a pretty ruffled rim. The pattern was registered in 1897. 
 
An elegant footed bowl suited to many uses, food service or decorative, with the added appeal of being a collectible piece of antique Davidson glass.

In overall very good antique condition, may be minor marks or scratches consistent with age and use.
