A large pressed glass vase by Josef Inwald Glassworks, Czechoslovakia, c.1920s.
Featuring a geometric pressed design incorporating a star motif, intersected with cross-hatched triangular detailing. The design reflects the decorative language of early 20th century European pressed glass, with a softly undulating wave rim that gives the piece a more organic finish.
The vase has a substantial concave base and impressive weight, giving it a strong architectural presence whether styled alone or as part of a curated display.
A striking and rare example of early 20th century European pressed glass, in excellent vintage condition.
Sold individually. Would make a striking matching pair if purchased together.
