This jug was modelled on a fictional figure, 'The Tale Teller', an endearing character ready to tell his stories, ale in hand. Produced by H. Wain and Sons under their Melba Ware label.

Well suited to decorative display, or to be enjoyed as part of a vintage table or entertaining setting.
