Royal Doulton Character Jug 'Old Salt' - Sold Separately

A collectible Royal Doulton Character Jug 'Old Salt', made in England, c.1970's.

This character was modelled on an old sailor and represents the many sailors who told tall tales of the sea. Designed by Gary Sharpe with charming detail to include a mermaid handle. 

Royal Doulton produced character jugs for more than six decades, and examples such as these remain highly regarded by collectors. 

Well suited to decorative display, or to be enjoyed as part of a vintage table or entertaining setting.

Both pieces are in excellent vintage condition, sold separately.
