Royal Winton Grimwades 1930s Green Rosebud Breakfast Set - Complete 6 pieces

A complete Royal Winton Grimwades English breakfast set from the 1930's, featuring the highly sought after blossom/rosebud mould with sculptural handles, lid finial and matching tray.

Elegant, substantial and increasingly difficult to find as a full set, particularly in this soft green glaze and condition. This pre-war Royal Winton set exemplifies the quality and design Grimwades is renowned for. The blossom mould appeals strongly to collectors for its rounded Art Deco form and distinctive rose detailing.

Set includes - teapot with lid, teacup, milk jug, sugar bowl and toast rack, all on it's original matching tray.

Condition is excellent overall. No cracks or repairs, has some age-related crazing which is typical and expected for the period. Given the almost antique status of this set, it presents beautifully. Gold trim in fantastic condition, there is one very tiny point of glaze loss at the rim of the sugar bowl (not a chip, could have been done during manufacturing process).

The tray measures approx. 260mm x 220mm and is a breakfast-for-one set.
