A small glass bon bon dish by Mikasa, made in Japan, c.1980s.
This Mikasa candy dish is called 'Love Song' in the shape of a dove, featuring detailed grooves representing the feathers of the bird and including the eye, and is finished with a gold trimmed outer rim.
It can be used to serve chocolates, nuts and small candies and will add elegance to any dining setting, particularly the Christmas table - it was originally made as a holiday decor and table piece or gift. With imagination it serves many purposes, a pretty soap dish, jewellery or trinket bowl.
In overall excellent condition, may be some minor wear to the gold rim.
