Antique English feldspathic stoneware small jug or creamer with cobalt blue neck and spout.
The body of the jug is decorated with an applied fox hunt scene with horses, trees and dogs in beautiful detail, finished with a ribbed base. A small jug size for milk or sauce.
These types of stoneware jugs were produced in the early 1800's by a number of potters including Adams, Spode, Chetham & Woolley and Minton. No markings which is not uncommon for these pieces. This type of pottery is often translucent when held to a strong light.
In overall excellent antique condition, with a minor glaze loss spot to spout.
