Beautiful ceramic biscuit barrel with hand painted nautical theme and ship. Circa early-mid 20th century.

Elegant cookie jar or biscuit barrel, collectible piece with the detailed sea and galleon art. Lovely shades of blue depicting the sea and sky.
In great condition both inside and out, there is some gold gilding scroll work to the top shoulder perimeter which has rubbed or faded over time (pictured). Looks like the number 1004 impressed to base.
