Bagley Glass art deco diamond shaped mint sauce jug

Art deco diamond shaped small sauce jug by Bagley Glass, England. Pattern first produced in the early 1930's.

Intricate diamond pattern pressed glass, this small jug was originally produced for mint sauce. It's small size means it is suitable for sauces which are served or consumed in small quantities, rather than gravy. It is a unique diamond shaped jug, with the diamond pattern detail also designed into the diamond point top rim. The handle is solid glass and also finished with the same diamond point edging, every design detail on this little jug has been carefully thought out and it is just the most adorable piece.
