Ellis Ceramics Australian pottery jug in the number 261 mould style, circa 1960's.

A small creamer or milk and sauce jug with hand carved foliage pattern and green/grey colouring. 
Signed to base. In very good condition with a couple of small chips to glaze on and near the spout as pictured. Some crazing evident.

A collectible Australian pottery piece.
Measures approx. 
90mm (H) x 70mm diameter x 110mm (W, including handle and spout), approx. 150mL capacity.

Ellis Ceramics was an Australian pottery studio established by a Czechoslovakian couple, Dasa and Milda Kratochvil, in 1953.
Pieces such as this jug are hand decorated or carved, which makes each piece unique.
