Beautiful ikat style pattern in blue and yellow. A small vase for home decoration, Beswick collection or small posies or flower buds.
Measures approx. 105mm (H) x 70mm (diameter, top) x 50mm (diameter, bottom)
Very good vintage condition, with one small unfortunate chip to bottom edge as shown. Original sticker label attached and impressed makers mark on bottom of vase. Backstamp indicates circa late 50's - early 70's.
Beswick Pottery was founded in 1894 in Stoke-on-Trent, England. The pottery is well known for producing high-quality porcelain figurines such as animals, Beatrix Potter characters and later Disney characters. These have become highly sought after in the collectibles market. Beswick was bought by Doulton & Co (Royal Doulton) in the late 1960's.
