Small shell dish and sugar bowl in the Rouge Royale pattern by Carlton Ware, England. Circa 1930's/40's. Set of 2 pieces.

These pieces are fine quality and collectible Carlton Ware in a lustre deep red colour with gold gilded highlights. The bowl was produced as an open sugar bowl but can be used as a small vase or bowl, whilst the shell shaped dish is a versatile piece which can be used as a candy plate or bathroom dish, or simply displayed with a Carlton Ware collection.
Shell dish is in excellent condition. The sugar bowl has 2 chips to the footed base, as pictured.
