Davidson Glass Suite 1895 Compote c.1920s

Beautiful example of English pressed glass, this large compote is by George Davidson & Co, made in England, c.1920s.

The bowl features an intricate diamond pattern, repeated on the foot, and is finished with a striking wave rim. The detail within each small glass diamond reflects light beautifully.
This pattern was registered in 1895 and is a less common piece, captivating with its tall design.

An elegant compote suited to many uses, food service or decorative, with the added appeal of being a collectible piece of antique Davidson glass.

In overall very good antique condition, with one chip to the underneath of the foot (pictured).
