Lady Clare Melbourne Grammar School placemats

Boxed set of 5 Lady Clare collectible placemats, made in England.

It is a set of Melbourne Grammar School illustrations in black and white which include the Preparatory School and Grounds 1888 (x2), the Chapel 1893 (x2) and the House Front 1890 (x1) - unfortunately one of the set is missing. Set includes an article excerpt from the 'Illustrated Australian News', January 2nd 1893, in relation to the Grammar School.

These are high quality placemats with felt backings in very good condition with only some minor marks to a couple of them. Lady Clare placemats are highly collectible and were first produced in 1932. This set is estimated to be mid century.

Each placemat measures approx. 230mm x 200mm
