Antique Noritake Japan hand painted basket and plate. Set of 2 dishes.
Made in Japan, a very old hand painted design by Noritake with purple tones. The ceramic basket features a windmill country scene, with the side plate featuring a country house and meadow in the same colours. Both with gold finish on the edges, the basket handle has wear to the gold as shown. Early 20th century Noritake, the back stamp on these pieces first used in 1905.
Excellent condition for their age with the gold wear to handle as mentioned above.
