Portmeirion Large 15" Mexican Lily platter

Portmeirion large porcelain platter featuring the 'Amaryllis Reginae', or Mexican Lily, from the Botanic Garden Collection designed by Susan Williams-Ellis and first produced in 1972. The back stamp on this piece indicates late 1990's onwards.

This is a beautiful collectible platter, one of the largest platters produced. Display on it's own or for larger serving requirements such as a meat platter. In excellent condition.

Measures approx. 375mm x 280mm.

Portmeirion celebrated 50 years of its Botanic Garden collection in 2022. 
Portmeirion was founded in 1960 in England by pottery designer Susan Williams-Ellis and her husband Euan Cooper-Willis. Their pieces are highly collectible.
