Stylish and iconic Danish design rare set of sugar bowl and creamer in black by Bofa Keramik, Bornholm, Denmark. Circa 1960's.
Designed by Aksel Andersen and Leif Henriksen, Denmark, producing ceramic wares from 1953 - 1963. Both have their original paper labels still attached to the bottom of each piece. Rare and collectible mid century modern set. Sugar bowl features twin handles and the creamer has a stylish and unique handle design.
Excellent vintage condition with one very small area of loss to lower spout trim of creamer. This looks like a manufacturing fault, it is not a chip or scratch, but minor loss to the black finish as seen in 1st photo. Wonderful MCM or Danish modern design collectors set or gift.
