Stunning and very rare large footed bowl and compote in the Ada pattern by Ohio Flint Glass Co. Pattern No. 808, first produced in 1898. *Sold separately.
It was advertised in a trade journal in 1898 as being made in 100 pieces. Later produced by the Cambridge Glass Co. in 1903. Source: eapgs.net
These are in excellent condition, they seem as new which is amazing considering their age. They are the finest example of this era and Early American Glass with intricate arch pattern throughout including the feet. The arch theme is continued on the top edge and finished with a detailed scalloped rim.
Wonderful art nouveau style and highly collectible and rare pieces.
