'Monty' was Field Marshal Bernard Law Montgomery, a senior British Army officer who served in the First World War, the Irish War of Independence and the Second World War. This design is by Harry Fenton and first produced in 1946.
This jug is a large size and was produced by Royal Doulton for over 40 years and is highly collectible with fine detail throughout including the detailed handle.
In excellent condition, seems to have had little to no use.
