Studio Anna Mildura paddle steamer wall plate

Celebrate Australia's rich river heritage with this vintage and collectible hand painted wall plate made by Studio Anna, Australia, circa 1960s.

Studio Anna was established in the early 1950s by Karel Jungvirt (Czechia) and is well known for it's high quality and artistic pottery pieces capturing the landscapes, flora and fauna of Australia, and Aboriginal art and designs mainly as souvenir pieces.

This decorative wall plate is a hand painted image of the iconic Mildura paddle steamer, gliding down the Murray River. A beautiful Australian collectible plate, has 2 small chips to one side which mainly show on the underside, however still visible on the painted side on close inspection (pictured on both sides). Has a hole for wall hanging.
