A beautiful rare set of Australian pottery jugs by Sylha Pottery, Victoria.
These Australian studio pottery jugs are a wonderful example of the work of potters Artur and Sylvia Halpern who produced domestic wares under the Sylha name from 1950-1975.
With interesting and attractive colours, one blue and one green in 2 different sizes. The design is the same on both, a watercolour style painted design. The green design appears blurry, like a spray effect, whereas the blue is more distinct.
In excellent condition. Very collectible Australian studio pottery pieces and a beautiful set of jugs or pitchers for the table.
Sold as a set of 2.
Measures approx.
Green jug 8" - 203mm (H) x 140mm (W, incl handle), approx. 850mL capacity
Blue jug 7" - 178mm (H) x 140mm (W, incl handle), approx. 700mL capacity
