Wade Heath Green Floral Art Deco Teapot
Beautiful art deco style teapot made by Wade Heath, England. c.1930's.
Wade Heath & Co. was an English pottery company based in Burslem, Staffordshire. This style, often referred to as 'Floral Ware' was typically produced in the late 1930's to 1950's.
The teapot features a charming, hand-painted border of flowers to the top part of the body, with art deco styled stepped ribbing to the body and lid.
Pretty pale green colouring with purple, red and yellow florals. A collectible teapot for display or special use. In overall very good condition with no chips or cracks, however crazing is evident consistent with age. One very small fault seen to spout, as pictured.
Measures approx. 250mm (W, incl. handle and spout) x 170mm (H, with lid) and 150mm diameter.
